Understood.
She then looked at the Major when he came on the bridge, Take a seet Major. I know you've been bucking at command for a post on the bridge for a while. Seams in their infanent wisdom they desided to grant that wish.
She then opened the comm up.
Engineering, there has been a change in command. Major Deitiz will be servicing as the exsecutive officer and the one reports will be quartered to. He'll also be the one to command the bridge in my absence. Keep me aprised as to when the last of the station personel are off the ship.
She knew that engineering would be the last area that the station would clear out before they started giving the commands to launch the ship. She just hoped by then that there would be more crew. She would hate taking off to test the ship without a full staff.

He turned somewhat towards the captain with a surprised expression after she made the FPCO into the XO. He pondered a moment, thinking he thought that Bridge officer got picked first on whether they become a command level officer
He shook his head as he returned his attention back to the Navigational control panel. Guess not, he thought briefly to himself
He awaited the order to depart

She looked at navigations when he looked at her, You have an objection to the orders Lt. Long? If so speak your mind now and don't hold back. This is still my ship. Command stepping in like that she knew that there would be some objectons somewhere. While she waited for a reply she spoke to Deitiz, When engineering reports all clear start departure protcials.

The Captain asks Helm if he has a objection to the orders if so hes to speak up, he sat their saying nothing but he understands if Helm is upset.
He hasn't read any of the officers files, so hes not sure if Helm has Command training, he just knows he has Command experiences it may be as FPCO but he has it
The Captain then gives him an order When engineering reports all clear start departure protcials. he looks at the Captain Yes Ma'am he waits to hear from Engineering

Hearing the captain ask if he had any objections to her orders, he snapped a poker face on his face and looked back toward her "Yes, Captain. This is your ship and no, I do not have any objections to your orders. I was merely mistaken in ship's Command protocol."
He looked back to his console, tapping a couple keys, fine tuning the sensors another .1 percent

Sobek hit the comm panel. "This is Main engineering. We are now clear of base personnel. All systems are currently at satisfactory levels for launch. Take us out when ready."

She looked around the bridge to take into account all the personell that were there on the bridge before speaking. Time to take her out. Helm set a course to clear all morings and the station when given clearance to do so. Follow standard shiping lanes around the station then plot a course towards deep space away from space stations and the like. She still had a puzzled look on her face when she opened a comm to the lower decks. Thomas Cypher report to the bridge.

Turning an ear to the Captain, he listened to the orders that she gave out, and began to tap the navigational controls
He contacted station keeping and requested to depart ASAP. He began detaching docking clamps and began clearing all moorings. He grew a bit curious at the ccordinates she gave, away from all starbases and any populated area
He entered a course that would take them out to deep space, after making a single orbit around the station
"All moorings clear, docking clamps detached" He paused a moment to hear station keeping granted permission to leave dock "Permission to depart granted" He reported
