House History Section
The House of Toragh was a noble house with a long history since the time of Kahless, about 1500 years ago. The House of Toragh has stood for honor and integrity since the day the first warrior stood against the enemies of Kahless. The House of Toragh's ancestral holdings are located around the Sea of Gatan, the Toragh holdings had increased over the many centuries to include nearly 25% of the land around the lake and the surrounding territories within a 100 mile distance starting from the lake.
The House or Toragh had a seat on the high council until the year 2367, when Toragh, Lara and nearly the entire House were killed in a offensive attack by a large band of unknown assassins. It is rumored that the House of Durq were involved in hiring the assassins to destroy the house, no solid proof of this was ever found up until this very date, 10-15-2387. Mor'VaQ and a few House retainers are all that survived from this attack as Mor'VaQ was out on another hunt, learning the skills of a warrior.
Mor'VaQ's Childhood
During his childhood, he received the finest training that his mother and father could give to him, along with the house retainers who often stepped in to teach him the skills of a warrior and the words of Kahless and of Kang the Seer. On the fated day that his house was under attack, Mor'VaQ was out hunting with Kartak the chief weapons officer of the House of Toragh. Mor'VaQ would not die along with the rest of his house on this day, since then he became an orphan after Kartak died nearly a year later in an unsuccessful ambush to kill Mor'VaQ.
Mor'VaQ endured many years as an orphan in shame to his own mind and yet he was honored by many as he continued to stand in honor, remembering the teachings of his house, he continued to uphold the honor of his house to all that knew him. Many assassin attacks occurred in the years of his childhood, nearly without end. None of them would succeed against this warrior.
Young Adult
As said, Mor'VaQ continued to endure the hardship while an orphan. Soon he would be offered training as a warrior and to preserve his house against being wiped out by enemies. Among Mor'VaQ's supporters where Garan of the House of Rajuc and Karana's father from the House of Mo'Kai. They knew he was an honorable warrior and had watched is progress over the years. He was then transferred to the I.K.S. bortaS tar to begin his career as a warrior in the Klingon Defense Force, he would serve on many vessels afterwards, including in the Federation where he served as an exchange officer.
He had met Karana during the time he was on Qo'noS before he left to serve in the KDF, a strong friendship had developed between them to be long lasting and honorable. He left to be assigned to the KDF without a word to Karana, he felt that he did not wish to drag Karana with him into life of vengeance against the House of Durq. Later on, Karana had located Mor'VaQ and tracked his location on the U.S.S. Concord, soon she would be with him again as they shared the battles and life together once again.
Mor'VaQ has served on many vessels, sometimes never serving for too long as he was once again transferred to another ship. He served honorably on every vessel he was assigned to. On the U.S.S. Concord as an exchange officer, he started out as the marine executive officer and then to become first officer of the U.S.S. Concord under the command of the Cardassian Julius Delor. Mor'VaQ was transferred once again to the U.S.S. Guardian, under the command of Admiral Kendrell B. Washington. His adventures continue.
Personal Notes
I served as the executive officer on the U.S.S. Guardian for a short time before the captain, Kendrell B. Washington decided to go back into retirement. He should have continued on and died at his post instead of acting like a worthless maggot. The U.S.S. Guardian continued on with her duty somewhere in the U.F.P. Karana of the House of Mo'Kai left and went to Cardassia, she did not say what she would be doing there. Soon afterwards, I got a call to return to the Klingon Empire. I was assigned to the I.K.V. HoS under the command of la'quv Pok of the House of Torghn. I reported to stations as the chief security officer.
Appearance Description
Mor'VaQ of the House of Toragh stands 7' 8" tall, medium build and slightly stocky as well as being in excellent health. He has dark brown hair and golden yellow eyes that shimmer when happy or upset. He carried his bat'leth given to him by his father and the daq'tagh given to him by Kartak on the day that he was killed. He carries a disruptor pistol and a small portable painstick with him at all times.
Personality Description
Klingon honor and traditions are a highpoint in his religious and ethical beliefs. The words of Kahless and Kang the Seer are the foremost in his actions as he lives the way of a warrior. He honors treaty set forth by the Klingon Empire and follows commands as they are given. He evaluates commands and reports based on his ethics and values.
