This is where the CO of the ship keeps his duty and personal logs.

Stardate:65829.65.
The Exodus has set sail. I have assembled a fine crew and to my good fortune, avery adept Engineer.
The Crew understands the mission and what is at stake. I am not always happy with how things had to go, but I will do what needs to be done.
Too many times in history have people suffered while bureaucrats fillibustered back and forth.
I now fly the Maquis flag. I hope they are willing to give me the support I'm going to need to get those people off that planet.

Ship's Log: Stardate:62362.6 Currently maintaining course for Milantheus. Ship is holding up despite attacks. I am concerned that I only have so much in my bag of tricks to get us in and out on this run. IF we can get those Children back to Bajor, it would be a great accomplishment. But there are far more than a hundred or so children on that Colony. I don't how we're going to pull this all off again without help. Even the Maquis, who helped me refit the ship, are not yet organized enough to help. They are busy with their own Agendas and are concentrating on their personal war with Task force Phoenix. I have no love for Section 31 so I wish them luck. I have a good crew who believes in what we're doing. Even though we may have to turn to unscrupulous methods to resupply ourselves.

Ship's Log. So far we are managing to obscure ourselves from the Imlubari inside a hydrogen cloud that also contains some dense stellar material. Nothing dangerous, though. We have finished making repairs and await Lt Brekke and Lt Miller's return to the ship. We think we have made a valuable find here. The Imlubari do not yet know what Benamite is. If knowledge of this supply becomes known to them, It would invite traders and other governments to barter for the crystals. It is almost a sure thing they will ask for technology in return. I have also received a report from the maquis that a Federation Starship is looking for us. Perhaps I can reason with this Captain and convince him of the gravity and potential danger of the situation. That, coupled with the colony taken hostage is enough for them to have to do something. I don't think I'm going to get any help from the Maquis. When we arrive at the Milantheus colony, We won't know the opposition until we arrive there. Long range scans don't show many ships. We must establish a low orbit, and beam down our cargo of weapons and munitions to the colony. It is highly likely that the colonists will already be engaged in a fire fight when we arrive. Lt Brekke's Squads will beam down with full armament and engage the Imlubari troops while the colonists can secure the cargo and begin to distribute it. Once the children are aboard, we will extract out MACOs and head out of the territory with all due speed. We can outrun them, and I have another plan as well.

Ship's Log: Stardate 65812.9 The EVA team consisting of 1st Lt Brekke and Lt. Miller have successfully returned to the ship. Dr Corlisa is in hibernation mode at present, but the EMH is standing by. If the Imlubari find out about those crystalline asteroids, they will no doubt be approached by other races willing to trade technology for mining rights. I believe if this is allowed to happen, The Imlubari will become an aggressive race and be more of a problem to the Federation then they are right now. Not to mention trouble they would cause with the Klingons and the Romulans. As it stands now, the Federation, the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire as well as the Ferengi, have all agreed to sanction the Imlubari. None of these governments will allow trade, or passage through their space. Scans also indicate that a group of Imlubari ships did, in fact, cross into Federaton space and attacked a Federation Starship. We have no idea what ship, only that the configuration seemed to be Nebula class. This ship is probably looking for us. My primary focus is on our mission. We'll deal the Starship when we reach that point. Many Starfleet officers are good thoughtful people. I hope this one is among them.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 68942.18.
We have successfully extracted the Childeren onto the Exodus. Actually a little more than that, as well as many of the wounded who were fighting Imlubari on the planet's surface.
We are no entering Bajor sector. Fortunately I have friends and support in the Bajoran Militia. The children and other wounded colonists will be dropped off at Deep Space 9 where they will get more than adequate medical care. The Children's families will be contacted and they will all be sent to stay with their closest relatives until their parents return home, or until the Colony is liberated.
According to some of the Intel I was given by my contacts in the Militia, the Imlubari have just made a big mistake. they drew Klingon blood.
I am now considering this as a possible course of tactics. With my crew's support, I would like to make a pea to the Empire, asking them to help us liberate the colony.
Klingons don't use hostages for leverage. they consider that cowardice. I doubt very much they care for the fact that this is a prime tactic for the Imlubari.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 68961.7.
We are still at DS-9. The children are all accounted for and we are being allowed to make needed reapirs overseen by engineer Moonshadows to Ennien.
I'd like to take th time to modify to a "Sub-Coaxial" warp drive. Not to be confuled with Coaxial warp. this won;t make th ship faster, we'll top out at about 9.95, but with this drive configuration we can hold that speed far longer. 12 days instead of 12 hours.
The drive also uses far less deuterium fuel, this greatly increasing the ship's range. We'll discuss that before we leave the Station.
Still, I am hoping to gain military help from the Klingons. One small taskforce and a freighter, and this whole issue can be solved. Perhaps Admiral Garan will enlist help from the other Klingon commanders on the station.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 69024.13.
We have stopped off at a non alligned space station and trading post. There were Imlubari on the staton, no doubt looking to trade for technology and weapons.
This has me worried. My crew and I are going in as a privateer/Pirate crew, which is essentially what we are, right now.
Brekke ended up fighting an arena match in order to win back a ship that a family of private prospectors owned. The man had been badly beaten in the ring.
As I figured, they didn;t want to pay us what they agreed, so I destroyed the Imlubari ship that was parked off the station.
I hated starting trouble, but in order for us to survive as privateers, we will have to get a reputation of being ruthless.
Next I'm going to have Brekke's men round up the Imlubari on the station, and then find the Yridians they were talking to.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 69076.4 Things have been routine since we dropped our guests off With Admiral Garan. I am still trying to enlist their help in driving the Imlubari off so that we can vacate the remainder of the colony. In the meantime, we have come across a Federation Dilithium refinery at the edge of the alpha quadrant near the Nastrix expanse. The station is manned by a small crew and is mostly automated. We had decided to approach to see if we could trade some of the Benamite for refined dilithium. We have got no response so far from. Upon getting closer, the station appears to be dead. I will discuss this with my crew and perhaps we will investigate.

Stardate: 69119.71.
We had approached the Space station and found it to be lifeless. I led the AT over there initially. No personell, and the station's records we not able to be uploaded.
We also detected a strange energy reading in the station's power core. Lon Stadi had some kind of a telepathic impression of the crew, and some sort of unknown lifeform being literally sucked into the core itself.
We returned to Exodus with whatever Data could be collected to be reviewed by Moonshadows To Ennien.
Moon led the second away team, along with Brekke Suh and her MACOs.
Stadi had another episode, this time more severe. Ken Miller beamed him to sickbay. He reported that he felt that the crew of the station was still alive somehow inside the core.
Moonshadows made the descision to invert the core's polarity to avert what looked like an impending overload. It was then we saw the being that Lon had described. It was like a tube of water in apperance. The rest of the station crew appeared as well.
We're still not sure what happened. The best we could ascertain was that the crew was held in some sort of transphasic state by this being.
The being fled. We have no idea what it was or where it was from.
We are currently helping the Station get back online, and seeing to any injured.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 69153.11 We have finished our engine repairs and are once again on our way. Much to my surprise, the Delta Maxians offered us a deal. Essentially a "Letter of Marque" of sorts. The Delta Maxians are a very studious people. Thie schools are some of the best the Galaxy has to offer. They started out back in 2255 as a Colony as I understand their history. They are at the edge of the Nastrix expanse, a very dark area that renders scanners helpless. The Planet was at one time disputed by the Klingon Empire, but was awarded to the Federaton later under the terms of the Organian peace treaty. The Maxians have agreed to give us drydock when needed, but we must find them Benamite, and we know where that is. I have discussed a plan to ensnare the Imlubari ships which could give us time enough to do an evac on Milantheus. IF it comes down to only being able to complete one of these objectives, we go to Milantheus and get as many more children and wounded off of there as we can. Currently, we have not been able to contact Admiral Garan of the Klingon Defense Force. We had duscussed enlisting Klingon aide to help use liberate and evacuate the remainder of the colony. I had hoped he would introduce me to Laquv PoK. He has enough influence to mobilize a small task force at his order. If I contact The Laquv personally, it may be considered an insult. I will have to wait. It is good to be underway again.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 69191.44. We are still in orbit of Omicron Sigma II. We have found the source of the disturbance, an immense hologrid on the planet. Evidently, some sort of accident had taken place disabling Many of the master control functions. The holographic servants that live here were unable to help their progenitors. This had been a long process. Monshadows has effected repairs on the holomatrix. We have discovered also that the Planet has an immense geothermal power source with reading that are off our scales. Systems are coming back online all over the main city. The holograms are unhappy because they now feel they have no purpose to serve. I think we may be able to remedy that situation.

Ship's Log: Stardate: 69210.45. We have once again set a course for Milantheus. This time, the Holograms are going to help us. In turn, I think they may be helping themselves. They are designed to help their People, much like ours are, only these holograms are old and have vast experience. I personally think their planet would be a wonderful place for the Milanthean colonists to resettle. They have places to live, a great deal of technology to explore, and maybe they can rest easy for a bit with the holograms to protect and hide them. Once this operation is complete, we will send for the rest of the Children to rejoin their families. I ask the Prophets for help and guidance in giving this incident a a happy ending.

Captain's Log: Stardate: 69383.36. We have managed to take out the remaining Kzin Warships before leaving the station. We're still getting used to this ship and I don't want to take her into combat if it can be helped until we log some hours here. The ship is in prime condition. We've found a lot of supplies on the base and we're very well equipped at this time. As we began to inventory, we found emergency warp batteries, Auxiliary sheild generators, which Moonshadows is converting to Pelltier generators. Captain Brekke has found a supply of advanced pulse phaser rifles, and even some amored suits that the Maquis were experimenting with that have personal cloaking systems, and a Borg based sheild system. Perhaps I should tell everyone not to get too comfortable yet, since we don't know What SF will do once we bring them the recovered ship. Ambassadors are still active in the fleet. Still, I am enjoying the roominess, the nicer quarters, better food service. I'm sure Doctor Corlisa can't complain about the medical bay compared to the old ship. We are making our way toward 001 and attempting to keep as low a profile as possible. We must also maintain communication silence or the Convoy will be compromised and the Kzin will learn that the Ambassador is not with the Comvoy. I am considering a warp 9 probe to get word to SFC that there has been a Kzin attack in our territory. This will not sit well with them. My other concern - What if the Imlubari and the kzin decided to team up? Neither race is cooperative, but to fight a common enemy like the Federatoin they could reach an agreement. The Kzin are a bit more advanced than the Imlubari, so they would benefit from such a temporary union.

Ship's log: Stardate: 69402.5. We have arrived at Earth! We are keeping a low profile, but the Important thing is that th Ambassador from Beta Taranaga has arrived safely. He was pleased to report that the accomodations imporved along the way. All that happens now, is to wait and see how the Admiralty feels about what we did. This could be the less pleasant aspect of it. In the mean time, the crew has some time on earth, and hope, some shoreleave for a while.
