This article is about the use of the Add Tags tool bar for use when you make a new thread or post. I will attempt to explain how to use this tool bar and some explanation about BBC codes common in usage on many message boards.
This tool bar is located just above your posting field when entering a new thread or post. You will see a bunch of square icons with no name on them. I will attempt to explain them in the following order. You have two rows of icons top and bottom, I will start explaining each one from left to right starting with the top row. Each button will add the BBC code for the particular function that you need.
1.) Row 1
a.) B = Bold. Bold tex.
b.) I = Italic. Italic Text
c.) U = Underline. Underlined Text
d.) S = Strike through.
e.) G = Glow. This makes Glow Text. Tinker with the tag to get the desired look.
f.) D = Shadow Text. Tinker with the tag to get the desired look.
g.) M = Move.
h.) Pre.
I.) Align Left
j.) Align Center
k.) Align Right
l.) HR = Divider bar.
m.) Font size
n.) Font face
2.) Row 2
a.) Blockquote
b.) URL = Adding a link to a website
c.) FTP
d.) IMG = Adding an image to a post
e.) email link
f.) table
g.) table
h.) table
i.) sup
j.) sub
k.) tt
l.) code
m.) quote
n.) list
3.) This ends the basic description of the Add Tags tool bar. You can experiment with these tags to get the desired look and functions that you need for a given post.
4.)BBC Code. (Bulletin Board Code)
a.) BBC Code is used on message boards as an easier to understand markup language for posters. BBC Code is also more secure for many security reasons compared to using HTML code directly on message boards.
b.) The Add Tags tool bar uses the BBC system.
c.) For an example of using BBC Code, I will show you what the text looks like and then the code used for such.

What I have just written is the basic explanation about using the Add Tags Tool bar. Have fun and experiment with the tool bar and BBC as you wish.
