::opens his log:: High command has kept me busy lately doing things I ought not be doing which has prevented me from making very many entries to my log but over the next few months I will attempt to make notes of more of my activities and missions.
Recently high command has allowed more Dlvl (Federation) vessels to do research in Klingon territory. I have been opposed to allowing too many of their vessels into our space but it seems the treaty with the Dlvl has become more liberal with the exchange of technologies as well as our beq serving on one another's vessels. I opposed this also but find I am a lone voice against a greater choir of support for the program.
As far as I am concerned we do not need the Dlvl but there is talk about a greater threat that could affect the entire galaxy. I have been seeking information on this threat only to come up with nothing. Intelligence doesn't seem to be able to gather any information on it. I had to disembowel the leading Intel officer for dereliction of duty. Perhaps that will motivate his former underlings to provide more satisfying intelligence data in the future.
On another note.. My ship has been on regular patrols for nearly a year now. We have encountered many peculiarities and several species of being in the deepest reaches of Klingon territory. I have lost most of my crew to hostile forces and high command has yet to send a fresh wave of recruits to replace them. If we continue to lose beq the ship will have to be programmed for automated command functions. I have received several transmissions from high command discussing a possible mission into deeper space for reconnaissance. I fail to see the point of it all but nevertheless, it would be a maj'Qa mission for the beq and myself to find a new enemy to conquer. I should inform high command that without more recruits it will be impossible for such a mission for the HoS. Perhaps they will take this into consideration and provide the necessary warriors.
::looks up as the door chime sounds:: nuq'neH? ::an officer walks in handing him a padd, a transmission from high command, encrypted for his eyes only. He taps the buttons inserting the security code and gazes upon the data on the small screen, a smile comes across his face as he hits his comm:: +Helms+ Lesli, alter course, bearing 288, mark 5. Maximum warp!
::he tosses the padd aside and grabs the flask on his table and continues log:: It appears high command has agreed to provide additional beq, we are to rendezvous with them in 6 hours. We may go on that mission after all. ::closes his log and stands to head to the meH::

::begins logging:: Due to extenuating circumstances we were unable to rendezvous with the troop transport which would have increased our beq numbers. We are running on a small crew but I am confident my beq are able to complete this mission and bring success to the Empire. We will receive more beq when we are able, at the moment we must make the best of what we have,
It would seem as though more goes on in the farthermost reaches of Imperial territory than currently known by high command. We tend to always manage to find someone, somewhere doing something that draws our attention. This sector of space is more inhabited than previously thought to be.
We have entered a sector of space where spatial anomalies appear to be a regular occurrence. We came across an alien vessel in and around these anomalies. During scans of the vessel there was speculation that the ship had come from an alternate universe, perhaps a mirror of our own universe. I had considered sending a boarding party to investigate but the ship exploded before the team could even get started good. The result of a spatial anomaly tearing through the vessel without warning. Another result was the spatial anomaly expanded and formed what our engineer android theorized was probably a corridor of some kind. A doorway into an alternate universe.
The anomaly began to move closer towards the HoS so, to avoid contact we were forced to go to warp. Eventually the anomaly overtook us disrupting many of our systems. After the commotion we determined we had traversed 1800 lys from our previous location. Several vessels were detected which turned out to be Klingon but they did not appear to be the same Klingons that we knew. Making contact with them I learned that they are seeking to apprehend me. After careful consideration it is assumed that we have traded places with our counterparts and are in an alternate universe to that of our own.
Currently we are at high warp returning to our previous location where we first encountered the anomaly and the alien vessel theorizing that the anomaly will appear there again. Sensors indicate the Klingon warships are pursuing us.

La'Quv's log, star date 63260.15
We were ordered to the tri-border region where Klingon, Romulan and Federation space converge. Our missions was simple, to infiltrate a compound on Regar 6, a small planet inside the neutral zone, and retrieve a small team of Dlvl observers who were, unofficially, watching this planet's cultural progression who had become known to the leadership of the planet. They had been taken prisoner and while they had been allowed to contact Starfleet, they had not been told of any circumstances they might be freed under. We received our orders after High command was contacted by Starfleet.
As we entered the system we cloaked and proceeded into orbit of Regar 6 an received coordinates from a Dlvl recon team on the surface. After transporting down we found the Dlvl team but were soon ambushed by a small army of enemy warriors. Our forces battled the enemy for nearly 30 minutes while communications with the ship was disrupted but we were soon back on the ship and on our way to deliver our passengers to Starfleet command.
I should also mention that Cal, my operations officer, performed well while in command. Having confronted two Romulan Warbirds, with the assistance of Norman, the chief engineer, she manage to decommission them both on the same day. While I commend her for her service and ability, I tend to think she isn't always 100% stable. Nevertheless, the day was victorious and she was a factor in it's happening. She has brought honor to the Empire.
